Our Outlook in 2006:

The resurgence of the Boyle County Republican Party has been possible due to the large number of people who have volunteered and worked endless hours for our cause. But while we look back and feel good that we played a role in restoring a two-party system here, we will not stand still nor rest on our laurels. We will continue to build our momentum!

Looking ahead, we have much work to do to further our cause.

To achieve our goals in 2006, Boyle County Republicans will work on the following tasks:

1) Support our local Republicans running for office in 2006, and pledge to help them.

2) Attend public meetings, such as fiscal court and city commission, to learn more about the issues and processes. This will be especially beneficial to assist Republican candidates.

3) Urge all who have similar views (friends, neighbors, relatives, spouses, children and parents) to join us by registering as Republicans, with the goal of balancing the voter registration here in Boyle County.

While there is much work to do, we will also have fun. Visit the numerous events in Boyle County this year, and meet your Republican candidates. Please watch for announcements of upcoming events through emails, in the Advocate-Messenger, your mailbox, and here at our Webquarters. And, stop by our permanent headquarters located next to the Boyle County Courthouse, 319 West Main Street, Suite 3. We plan to open our headquarters daily, starting in September.

In closing, let me say that it is most gratifying to see that the Republican Party in Boyle County is back!

Thomas W. McClain
Boyle County Republican Party Chairman
