Dear Editor:

Christians who vote Democrat must be unaware of the party platform. How else can they support this ticket?

Insidious, special-interest groups have hijacked this once noble party and now promote the moral decay of our society in the name of tolerance. Democrats now vehemently support gay rights, abortion, partial-birth infanticide and pornography. This was all too evident last week during the Democrat's National Convention.

Convention officials mandated that 5% of all delegates be homosexuals to represent the population. Several of these front-row delegates who would have you believe they are the protectors of our children, jeered, booed, and spit at an honor guard consisting of several young Boy Scouts. It seems that ridiculing these children was justified since the Boy Scouts of America does not allow openly gay troop leaders. Showing no regard for innocent human life, speaker after speaker stressed support for the termination of a fetus at any time during pregnancy. Longtime party supporter, Hugh Hefner, and top party officials scheduled fundraisers to take place at the Playboy mansion. Delegates and politicians hobnobbed with the sex-obsessed Hollywood elite that produces movies and television to promote those errant behaviors.

However, the Democrat platform has shown to be intolerant of at least one thing— Christian values.

A loyal servant of Jesus Christ cannot possibly support this debauchery and remain true to the Lord.
