RICK’S GOALS—

“Every citizen deserves leaders who work as hard after elected as they did to get elected. I strive to provide first-class representation to every citizen with quick response and effective follow-through.”


I have two primary goals
for 2007-2010:


1. Return fiscal responsibility to Boyle County. — County government is not a business, however sound business principles must be utilized to reduce frivolous spending and government waste.

   a. Simplify the budgeting process.

   b. Make Fiscal Court more transparent.

   c. Prevent future tax increases.


2. Educate the economic development partnership that Boyle County is MUCH more than just Danville.

   a. Balance controlled growth with responsible land stewardship.

   b. Create good jobs so our children don’t have to decide between staying in Boyle County and making a decent living.

   c. Promote agri-tourism destinations such as Forkland, Perryville Battlefield, Merchant’s row and Penn’s store.
